Automatic Chronograph Valjoux
Clockworks model (caliper) - 7750 represents the most secure high-quality wrist chronograph. Chronograph operation is characterized by some peculiar features. As a rule, given items are equipped with on/off and set-to-zero buttons over and under the crown. Set-to-zero button (the lower button) is unavailable during chronograph’s operation mode, as this may cause damage to the mechanism.

OPERATION MANUAL Mechanical Wristwatches
REMEMBER: If you use the self-winding clockworks, be sure to wear watch on a wrist for at least 8 hours during a day, this way the spring will wind completely. In case you decide to wear a watch again after a long pause, the watch is winded up with the crown in point (1). Be sure to make from 10 to 20 turns. Further, just give your watch a shake to make the winding wheel start the clockworks. Turn the crown less than 30 times and do not turn it counterclockwise, to prevent winding mechanism damage or operation problems.

Quartz movement
REMEMBER: screw threading is used in some watches, as it helps holding the wheel. So, when you set time or date, first liberate it with several turns clockwise. When the wheel is placed to the initial position, the procedure is repeated in reverse order. This way you break the spring resistance and the thread is rotated in several turns counterclockwise.

Proper Care of Your Watch
To keep watch in good condition, you should observe following guidelines.
Moving machinery of mechanical watch, as any other, should be cleaned and lubricated about every 3-4 years and this should necessarily be executed in company service centers, specified in watch documents. Even the smallest dust can cause malfunction. Wind up watch only after you remove it from hand, to avoid uneven pressure on clock winder, as this is the most vulnerable place in watch. Winding up also should be done at the same time and only clockwise until it stops.
